Infinite Consulting Corp. (Infinite) performed Site Safety Management and Fire Safety Management services on the $1 billion Marriott EDITION hotel in Times Square. The development is a 39-story, 350,000-square-foot mixed-use project comprised of a 452-key Marriott EDITION hotel, 76,000 square feet of retail, and an 18,000-square-foot outdoor sign in the heart of Times Square. The project features 40,000 square feet of food and beverage, including outdoor space overlooking the famed Duffy Square. The LED sign will be one of the largest and most technologically advanced in the world today.
Infinite was responsible for performing site orientations, the daily site walks, and enforcing the health and safety programs of the contractors and the owners as well as the construction management firm. Infinite staffed this project 24 hours a day with site safety, fire safety, concrete strap inspectors, and various other safety professionals. Infinite was also responsible for preparing, filing, and updating the DOB site safety plans. The complexity of the site required numerous site visits and coordination with Infinite’s on-site staff, the CM, and the various contractors involved.
