The new Residential Building at the South Beach Psychiatric Center consists of the construction of an approximately 250,000-gross-square-foot, five-story replacement inpatient residential building on an approximately 9-acre footprint located in the northeast portion of the SBPC campus. The new flood-resistant facility will house up to 250 adults and 12 adolescent inpatient beds, replacing outdated, functionally obsolete buildings with a single, state-of-the-art inpatient residential building. The population from multiple inpatient residential buildings on the campus would be consolidated into the new building
Infinite was responsible for the review of numerous contractors working on-site. Infinite personnel conducted daily site walks, enforcing the health and safety programs of the contractors and the owners as well as the construction management firm. Infinite had a site safety professional on-site at all times to enforce OSHA, FDNY, and NYC DOB safety regulations and codes. Infinite provided field inspectors for the construction process. Field inspectors were responsible for inspection, reviewing material, delivery tickets, and coordinating with field staff and personnel.
