Infinite Consulting Corp. (Infinite) is providing on-site Environmental QA/QC Oversight in support of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) Comprehensive Modernization Program. NYCHA’s Comprehensive Modernization program has been launched to effectively utilize $2.2 billion in New York City funding to fully rehabilitate NYCHA’s campuses and buildings, improve building performance for the long term, enhance resident’s quality of life with improved living conditions, and preserve public housing for current and future residents. These holistic capital improvements at each development will include integrated and comprehensive renovations spanning multiple building systems, building interiors and exteriors, and site and grounds improvements. The program supplements NYCHA’s existing capital programs which focus on addressing urgent repair, replacement, and upgrade of a specific site and building systems and components.
Infinite staff is assigned to NYCHA’s offices within the Healthy Homes team, working with a team of QA/QC reviewers on the new 0.5mg/com testing initiative that prioritizes the Program sites. In this role, Infinite is responsible for:
- Reviewing various lead inspection or abatement reports and verifying accuracy within the standards of NYC, HUD, and EPA regulations
- Identifying key errors in lead inspection and abatement reports and providing suggestions for possible solutions
- Assisting in the analysis of operations within the division
- Identifying metrics and drafting critical reports that communicate the QAQC program performance
- Gathering and documenting business requirements for enhancements to existing systems and new applications; prioritizing and communicating business needs to the QA Managers or Director
- Supporting the successful rollout of new technologies, including the development of testing and training plans and materials
- Identifying and understanding metrics that will be used to measure and report vendors’ performance and progress
- Communicating with multiple stakeholders
- Performing analysis and preparing reports
- Monitoring LHCD contracts and assisting with contract modifications
