Infinite Consulting Corp (Infinite) is providing cost estimating and safety consulting services in support of the Project Management and Control Services for the New York City Health and Hospital Corporation (NYCHHC) on their Outposted Therapeutic Housing Units Program (OTxHU). The OTxHU program is based out of NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull.
This program will improve access to care for incarcerated individuals with complex medical, mental health, and substance use needs by constructing approximately 250 Outposted Therapeutic Housing Unit beds split between Bellevue and Woodhull hospitals. These areas will have additional security requirements and will be operated separately from public areas of the hospital. Overall, this program is intended to significantly improve access to care and a more normalized rehabilitation environment for incarcerated patients with more complex medical, mental health, and substance use needs.
